NEW FOR ELITE AMATEURS IN 2022:
Champ Division Amateurs have the option to add $90 (plus GST) to their entry fee to compete against the Professionals for the “Open Purse”. The maximum allowable cash prize for Amateurs is $1,200/event.
VGT Member (Open purse): $350+GST = $367.50
Non-Member (Open purse): $375+GST = $420.00
Whether Amateurs play for the ‘Am only’ prizing or against the Pros for the “Open’ purse, they will compete for Order of Merit points within the Championship Amateur Division and the Amateur trophy.
Their $90 fee paid will go directly into the “Open Purse” along with the $40 amount that would have been allocated to the amateur prize pool.
For Example: If 10 Amateurs decide to play in the ‘Open’ field vs. the Pros, the purse will increase from $25,000 to $26,400.
Every Amateur registering in the ‘Open’ field will count for 1/3 Pro when considering the overall field size and purse payout.
For example:
If 60 Pros in field. Purse payout = 35% = Top 21 will be paid out a share of the $25,000 purse
If 60 Pros + 10 Amateurs in Open field. = 22 paid out share of $26,400 purse
BREAKDOWN AS FOLLOWS:
Purse payout = 35% of Pros = 21
plus 35% of Amateurs (in this case 10) x 1/3 = one more spot. So in this scenario, the top 22 will be paid out a share of the $26,400 purse.
OPTIONAL SKINS GAME & HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT:
$20 per day = $40 total.
Entering the skins game qualifies you for any Hole-in-Jackpots on course!
GROSS SKINS: Pros + Champ Division Amateurs (combined)
NET SKINS: Senior Division + Flight One, two and three (combined skins game)
NOTE: All entry fees must be paid online through your golf genius profile by the registration deadline.

PROGRESSIVE HOLE-IN-ONE JACKPOT – 3 * $5,000 HOLE-IN-ONES!
- In order to qualify for the Hole-in-one (H.I.O) JACKPOT offered at a VGT event, a player must be entered into the $20 skins game/hole-in-one pot for that event. If there is no winner of the hole-in-one at VGT event, the current hole-in-one pot will carry over to the next event until we have a winner of the jackpot.
- If the jackpot accumulates to $5,000, it will be cut-off at $5,000 and the first eligible person (see above) to score a hole-in-one on an eligible jackpot hole will receive the $5,000 payout.
- As of March 13th, we have 3 x $5,000 Hole-in-One Jackpot prizes up for grabs!!
- If we have a winner of the 1st $5,000 Jackpot, then then the eligible person to score a hole-in-one in the event would win the 2nd $5,000 Prize and if a 3rd person scored a hole-in-one during this event they would win the 3rd $5,000 Prize. Any additional hole-in-ones at this event would not qualify for prizing since all 3 prizes would have been won already.
- Due to the skill difference of Pros versus the Amateurs in the field, we level the playing field for the JACKPOT two ways:
- By allowing the Senior Division amateurs to tee-off a shorter designated tee-box at various times compared to Professionals and Championship Amateurs.
- VGT hosts numerous Amateur only events where Amateurs have a chance to win the JACKPOT without Pros in the field.

Tranquility and Nature
Olympic View Golf Club boasts a variety of golf holes that compliment individual masterpieces. Nestled deep inside a pristine forest, natural beauty is punctuated by two waterfalls, twelve lakes, roaming deer, soaring eagles, and the beautiful snow peaked Olympic Mountains in the horizon. If some of the golf shots on this target venue quicken your pulse, the tranquility of our setting should help to calm and center you. The 17th hole encompasses enough natural beauty for an entire course. From the tee, aim toward a breathtaking 40 foot waterfall that frames the green 455 yards away. This signature hole plays through a steep, narrow valley past a huge rock column and an elegant Japanese garden. It's no wonder Olympic View was the first golf course in British Columbia that Tiger Woods played, as an amateur in 1994 (view video).
