Welcome to the "2014 BMG CUP Series" Portal

The BMG CUP Series has been formed as a FedEX Cup style points series for amateur golfers.  The series is made up of three events beginning with the Flagstick Shootout played at Smuggler’s Glen Golf Course, then moves to the Flagstick Open at eQuinelle and finishes with the Flagstick BCC Open at Brockville Country Club in the fall.

Players must participate in two of the three Series event to be eligible for the season point title and the BMG CUP.  In the season opening Flagstick Shootout the field is equal as there are no flights.  The Flagstick Open and the Flagstick BCC Open are full A,B,C,D flighted events, players compete within their flight for the event that day but BMG Cup points are awarded for a players position in the overall field not their flight.  The change to the point system was because many players indexes fluctuate throughout the season so they would be competing in a different flight each event and sometimes from different tees.  The new format puts the emphasis on overall play.  In 2014 all three events will count towards the overall BMG Cup title not just 2 of 3, however you must participate in 2 of 3 to be eligible.
